Mark Dominus programmatically went through an English dictionary to find single word anagrams such as soapstone/ teaspoons and cinematographer/ megachiropteran (a giant bat, apparently). This illustrates the problem – single word anagrams aren’t that interesting. The fun’s in multi-word ones (which are also less susceptible to a brute force attack).
My favourites include Britney Spears/ Presbyterians and Kate Middleton/ Naked tit model and this gem: The Danish singer Whigfield (Sannie Charlotte Carlson)/ Farcical, talentless, shining one hit wonder. I’d shag her.
