Musicians back coding solution to win fair deal for artists

In a fairly standard musician-wants-to-be-paid rant, composer Hélène Muddiman is quoted in The Guardian:

“Shops, pubs and cinemas have to monitor what they sell to people, why not ISPs?”

Not sure she quite understands that ISPs don’t sell things, websites do.  Maybe she lives in a world where she thinks that pubs police the doggy goods sold in them.  Maybe she wants to.  I don’t.
